Malin on Hohenzollernring: “Green is my absolute Fave!”

I’m an emerging project executive at Picanova’s e-commerce division. Picanova prints individual photos on canvas, acrylic and aluminium.

What are you wearing today?
I’m wearing a coat and a dress by Blutsgeschwister, my scarf is selfmade and my hat is H&M. I’m wearing Pier One boots, while my bag is Aunts & Uncles.

Your personal fashion style?
I’m rather open-minded in regards of fashion. To be honest, I don’t care much for brands, I wear anything that I like. Generally, I prefer fashion that’s cheerful, romantic and cheeky. As you can see, green is my absolute fave. I do also appreciate fashion styles from the 50s. However, if there’s one designer brand I really love, then it’s Blutsgeschwister. When the brand came up with its first collection about a decade ago it was exactly the fashion that I had been dreaming of. It was like “Wow, they’re really able to read my mind!”

Your favourite music?
Feist, Caro Emerald, Radiohead, Nouvelle Vague, Philip Poisel, Bosse, The Baseballs, Yann Tiersen, Damien Rice.

What’s the greatest thing about Cologne?
I am originally from Lake Constance, which is a beautiful region, but doesn’t give me the opportunity to see all my favourite bands and artists. Here in Cologne, I can visit nearly every show of my heroes, whenever they come to town. Recently, I saw the shows of Philip Poisel, Mia, Feist, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bosse and Bonaparte. I also love Cologne’s Belgisches Viertel with all its neat stores and great places to hang around during the summer months.
